(Head Office: Tokyo, Japan; President & CEO: Takahiro Wada; hereinafter "dhost") is pleased to announce that it has acquired a majority stake in Codetech Telecommunication Co., Ltd. (Head Office: 5F., No. 527, Zhongzheng Rd., Xindian Dist., New Taipei City, Taiwan; Representative: Lin Yu Chiang; hereinafter "Codetech"), making Codetech a subsidiary of dhost.

1.    Purpose

 As part of its growth strategy, the dhost Group is promoting the expansion of its infrastructure sharing business across multiple countries. Codetech provides wireless and wired telecommunications infrastructure construction services in Taiwan and has established a strong track record as well as extensive relationships with mobile network operators.

 Through this investment, dhost aims to accelerate its business expansion in the Taiwan market while leveraging the Group's management resources and technical expertise to create business synergies and enhance corporate value.

2.    Transaction Overview

dhost has acquired 52% of the issued shares of Codetech from Aeqon Taiwan. Following the transaction, the shareholding structure of Codetech is as follows:
・dhost Global, Inc.: 52%
・Mr. Lin Yu Chiang (Johnny Lin), Founder of Codetech: 48%

4.    Outlook

Through this acquisition, dhost Group will leverage Codetech’s business foundation and established relationships with telecommunications operators to further accelerate its business expansion in the Taiwan market.

The overall Taiwan business will continue to be led by See Kiang Khoo, Taiwan Country Manager of dhost, in close collaboration with Lin Yu Chiang (Johnny Lin), Representative of Codetech. By leveraging the respective strengths of both companies, dhost and Codetech will jointly drive business operations and project execution.

Going forward, dhost Group will continue to support the growth of its existing telecommunications infrastructure construction business while capturing market opportunities arising from the expansion of 5G. Through the creation of new business opportunities, including the Neutral Host business, and the expansion of its business domains, dhost Group aims to further enhance its overall corporate value.
